I chose to do the Red Panda due to its unique coat and ever growing popularity. I modeled my poster stylistically after a traditional Chinese ink painting in order to establish the geographic region in which they are found. The pose of the Red Panda displays its many colors and forms a simple silhouette. What would be the red stamp of ownership commonly found on traditional ink paintings is replaced with a paw print, as that would be the Red Panda’s signature. This design functions to not only display educational information but an interesting and marketable illustration.
